Il Sole Mediterranean Beaded Necklace – Ethical Gold

This necklace has been lovingly crafted in our Adelaide studio. All our pendants are made from sustainably and ethically sourced 18K gold with a 925 recycled sterling silver base.

The pendant hangs in the centre of a silk hand strung necklace, 40cm in length with a combination of Heishi Howlite crystal and Aventurine beads, fresh water pearls and 24K gold vermeil beads and findings. Due to the nature of the natural pearls, crystal and stone beads each necklace varies slightly in colour and size, making them just like us, unique and individual!

Inspired by the face of Rome’s Bocca della Veritá our Il Sole pendant depicts a sun with a face rising from the horizon. During the Renaissance, the sun often symbolised power and knowledge. Beneath the sun are two small openings and two tiny lotus flowers meeting at the base of the pendant. The lotus flower has long been associated with self-regeneration and rebirth.

This necklace is a beautiful symbol of self-empowerment and rebirth with each new day.

DIMENSIONS
This beaded necklace is roughly 40cm in length.  The pendant has a diameter of 2cm.

Each necklace comes packaged in a vegan friendly faux suede pouch and a high-quality gold stamped gift box made from recycled cardboard.
